Finca Los Bellotos is a magical spot high in the mountains. Nearby the Santa Ana volcano, it's misty with a cool Pacific breeze, overlooking Lake Coatepeque. Home to the rare Bernardina variety, it offers even more. The highest tablon is ‘Gato Cervantes', after the Civet cats native to the area. Here Pacas family grows Bernardina and Red Bourbon. Double-fermented for 48 hours then submerged for 24 hours, this coffee is dried on a patio. Manager Ruperto Bernardino Merche believes the magic of Los Bellotos makes the coffee unique. Wild and tropical, with a marzipan sweetness.
